Manege Central Exhibition Hall

The Moscow Financial Forum was held on September 12 and 13, 2019 in the Manege Central Exhibition Hall. It was designed by Augustin de Betancourt and built in 1817 to commemorate the fifth anniversary of the victory in the Patriotic War of 1812. Initially, the Manege was used for military exercises. Starting from 1831, it hosted exhibitions and public festivities and later became a venue for concerts and balls.

In 2004, the building was damaged by a fire and was subsequently rebuilt to a design by the architect Pavel Andreev. As part of the reconstruction, an underground floor was added to the Manege building, which significantly expanded the exhibition space. Today, it provides a venue not only for exhibitions, but also for concerts, performance art, lecture courses and film schools.
